ANALOGICA HOSTS // is a series of live streams dedicated to the filmmakers we’ve met in the first ten years of activity.
A journey through the independent scene of experimental and alchemic cinema, which often arises in small autonomous labs, collectives of filmmakers, spaces of analog resistance. The live streaming series is accessible from Analogica's website. Each stream lasts about 60'. |

Un percorso nella scena indipendente del cinema di ricerca e sperimentale, che nasce spesso in piccoli laboratori autonomi, collettivi di filmmakers, spazi di resistenza analogica. Gli incontri sono in live streaming, accessibili dal sito di analogica, ogni incontro dura circa 60'. |

Karissa Hahn is a visual artist based in Los Angeles. Her work articulates the nature of contemporary image reproduction and dissemination through the use of analogue and digital technologies. Whether creating performative films to highlight the hidden intensities of the everyday or blurring digital ephemera into physical reality through inkjet printing, she conjures up a storm of ’spectra ephemera.’ Hahn has shown around the planet Earth in various cinemas, galleries, and institutions such as the New York Film Festival Projections, TIFF Wavelengths, Eyeslicer Series at MoMA, CROSSROADS, International Film Festival Rotterdam, Ann Arbor Film Festival, and the Anthology Film Archives, among others.

Karissa Hahn è un'artista visiva con base a Los Angeles che realizza i suoi progetti sfruttando la fisicità della pellicola che spesso combina con tecniche di manipolazione digitale. Una continua ricerca tra i due formati, quello analogico e quello digitale, in cui spesso al centro della scena c’è lei stessa.

An artifact from a monumental occasion is examined. A photographer stole a frame of my stolen film! What could be uncovered in this washed out frame?
