WARSHADFILM è un duo formato da Tiziano Doria e Samira Guadagnuolo.
La loro attività si innesta su pratiche legate ai processi della fotografia analogica e del film in pellicola. Ciò è intimamente legato alla ricerca di una forma e di un linguaggio che trovano - nei processi e nelle possibilità tecniche degli strumenti usati - una corrispondenza concettuale e poetica. Grande importanza riveste la reciprocità tra immagine e parola e la ricerca di un isomorfismo tra il visivo e il sonoro. Hanno realizzato diverse installazioni cinematografiche, cortometraggi, raccolte fotografiche, lavorando anche con archivi fotografici e filmici. Sono stati invitati a diversi festival cinematografici internazionali quali, tra gli altri, Locarno Film Festival e al Torino Film Festival. |
WARSHADFILM ist ein Duo bestehend aus Tiziano Doria und Samira Guadagnuolo.
Ihre Tätigkeit basiert auf Praktiken, die mit den Verfahren der analogen Fotografie und des analogen Films verbunden sind. Dies ist eng verbunden mit der Suche nach einer Form und einer Sprache, die in den Prozessen und technischen Möglichkeiten der verwendeten Instrumente eine konzeptionelle und poetische Entsprechung finden. Von großer Bedeutung ist die Wechselwirkung zwischen Bild und Wort und die Suche nach einer Isomorphie zwischen dem Visuellen und dem Klang. Warshadfilm haben mehrere Filminstallationen, Kurzfilme und Fotosammlungen erstellt und arbeiten auch mit Foto- und Filmarchiven. Sie wurden zu mehreren internationalen Filmfestivals eingeladen, darunter Locarno Film |
